We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team in providing exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. Duties:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs and assembly tasks efficiently.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Assist with vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for customer pickup or delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Red Seal Certification a MUST.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
- Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs needed or completed.
- Experience with automotive repair software or maintenance management systems is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
